VALLEJO (pronounced Va-lay-ho) has become one of the most popular rock bands to hail from “The Live Music Capital of the World” Austin, Texas with their sonic melting pot of classic album rock mixed with contagious funky rhythms and Latin percussion.
Started by the three Vallejo brothers from El Campo, Texas – vocalist and lead guitarist AJ Vallejo, twin brother Alex Vallejo on drums and younger sibling Omar Vallejo on bass – along with high school friend Bruce Castleberry on guitar and percussionist Alex Geismar, Vallejo has toured all over the US and Mexico tearing up stages with their fiery live performances with such acts as Matchbox 20, Stone Temple Pilots, Juanes and Los Lobos. Vallejo has also had many of their songs featured in national television shows NBC’s Roswell, UPN’s America’s Top Model, MTV’s Jersey Shore and HBO’s True Blood.

It can easily be said that BRODIE LANE is a direct product of the 2020-2021 pandemic, as venues, tours & the world halted to a complete stop, eviscerating live music & artists' existence. With the city mostly in shutdown, Austin music scene veteran AJ Vallejo converted his home garage/band rehearsal space on Brodie Lane into a decked-out whiskey lounge hosting speakeasy-style jam sessions to pass the slowed time with long-time drinking buddies Bruce Castleberry (guitar), Alex Geismar (drums), Joe Fladger (bass) & friends.
These jams became the catalyst for this collective pandemic group to conveniently start recording them on AJ’s home studio set up. It wouldn't take long before their delirious mix of roots-pop-rock social media content started gaining traction w/ radio-ready singles like their timely #4 Texas/Regional Radio 2021 quarantine-love-anthem, "Stuck With You" and follow-up Top 5 single "Come Home To You" cracking the Top 5. — Follow them on your fave social @brodielanetx
